Shore reinforcement, with stone, has been needed due to sporting motorboats on Green Lake. Undermining our trees and other vegetation has been caused by this destruction along the shoreline. Hopefully, local stone will prevent this man-made erosion.

Well water at camp has functioned for almost 55 years. Lois recalled digging the well, behind the shed, in great pain. In hindsight, she probably had been suffering from pyelonephritis at the time, but fought the pain (at her husband's urging) and attributed her discomfort to the harsh ‘back work’ of digging a well.
Leaking well water connection was upgraded on 2009 with Mark Kane, plumber.

Mother Nature is a ‘free woman’ in the Adirondacks. Trees have fallen at camp and need clearing.

In June this lock mechanism received a more contemporary key cylinder. Extra keys and duplicate keys for the front door will not be a burden.
Original front door and latch mechanism was more than 50 years old. Papa, more than likely, got the door as a used item. The key mechanism was already old. The key itself, is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ style, which has tended to baffle locksmiths. Therefore, it is no surprise that NO key has been successfully duplicated at camp. Papa kept the original. Therefore, most of us have entered camp at least once by climbing in through the bedroom window.
