Raft Repairs 2010

Raft repairs were a priority project for 2010.
Morgan Garner, Chris Milo and Mark Petersen flipped the raft in July to replace the flotation materials.
Flotation was made with Styrofoam buoyancy billets and secured. These units are extruded polystyrene insulation materials which cannot become punctured or water-logged. The four blue pieces became the basic materials to replace the existing waterlogged bubble foam. Estimated total weight that can be supported by the four billets is 880lbs.
Even the raft ladder works with the new arrangement.
